KUHeS Third Research Dissemination Conference: Posters by the CREAMS Team

The Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) Third Research Dissemination Conference, held in October 2024, brought together researchers, policymakers, and healthcare professionals to share groundbreaking studies addressing key public health challenges.

As part of this prestigious event, the CREAMS (Clinical Research, Epidemiology, and Antimicrobial Stewardship) Team showcased their latest research through poster presentations, highlighting critical findings on antibiotic dispensing practices, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and regulatory challenges in Malawi.

These posters provided valuable insights into the non-prescription sale of antibiotics, the impact of policy gaps, and potential strategies to enhance antimicrobial stewardship.
