Anglican Council Of Malawi and Creams

On 23 January 2023 ANGLICAN COUNCIL  OF MALAWI and CREAMS LTD signed a memorandum of cooperation. The understanding gives CREAMS access to its hospitals and clinics for an initial assessment of its facilities and produce a Baseline Report for discussion with the designated authorities for production of a detailed development and collaboration plan in building research capacity. Capacity building will involve CREAMS external collaborators (i.e., eHealth Africa of South Africa) to establish digital tools for managing patients including in Occupational Health.

Above is a picture of St Andrews Hospital of the Anglican Council situated in Kasungu that was the first to be jointly assessed by CREAMS staff and Health Coordinator of the Council on 24 January 2023.

The Anglican Council also runs nurses training colleges and a University in Malawi. Dr Nyirenda, Director of CREAMS Ltd was hosted at Lake Malawi Anglican University where cooperation of building research capacity will be extended.
